Innovation and Soul
I would recommend this book to both Chrisians and non-Christians due to the quality and thoughtfulness of the story, which although familiar, contains a number of innovative touches. Without giving too much away, the author employs subtle devices that allow a well known story to be seen with fresh eyes. That said, the innovations are not there for their own sake. A story far from the ordinary
This is a story of the beginning, a story of the creation of everything. It’s not an ordinary story. It is based on the primordial truth of the Bible mixed with the imagination of the author. I don’t know which parts of the book are inspired by the Holy Spirit and which are of the authors’ imagination, but I was stunned when I read about the birth of the universe and of mankind. The vastness of this process is beyond human understanding. At the same time, it speaks about the origin of evil and how humanity was overcome by sin. But it is also a story of hope because love and faith are here and they are stronger than sin. The impact of this novel on the readers leads them to understand the root of sin and helps them liberate themselves from it through the power of the Holy Spirit. Very interesting and definitely divinely inspired
The book narrates the creation story from God's perspective in a highly creative and engaging manner. The content includes poetry and illustrations that really complement the unfolding story, thus making it easy to read and comprehend. The description of how Adam and Eve took care of God's perfectly created world with angelic help was really interesting and shines light on how creation's original design meant work was to be an adventure and delight rather than a burden many of us find it to be in today's world. The transformation of Heylel into Satan was the other section that I found fascinating. The conversations that Heylel had with himself, the other angels and with God are deeply insightful and so believable that it makes one wonder whether this is indeed how it could have really happened! An inspired book that I couldn’t put down
I read it cover to cover in one breath, it was so pleasant. What I found most thrilling was the way Satan’s rebellion and fall is presented. Impressive. Amazing arts are part of the impression. Praise God for the inspiration! May He continue to inspire the authors and the people who take this journey.
